Mentain  chart of accounts on  peach tree software………..

Here are some blanks which u hav to fill
First is account  id  where we write the numerical vales  of every entry like if u have to enter the cash trantaction then write its serial no from the data example 013 in description name of transaction like cash in hand and also select the acc type……….. like its  cash account type…..

Secondly u hav data which u have to enter ……..

   its sample of charts of accounts data  ………………………….
Here account id is in serial no …..
Description is in bold assest type , property and equipment etc…..
And account type……….

Thirdly enter the Account id from the word sheet and description and account type and use tab keys when u enter all information then when u going to enter next id then  peach tree will ask u to modified the current account record and have to save it or not if yes then click yes
Fourthly  if u have  enter all and then u have  to click search button or enter id  and u can get the  the  all information ……..
Fifthly    clicking search it will show like this
 Sixthly if u have enter all and u can search also  as in uper slide then u can also check ur data u have to change any type or change account id then  click change id  nad make changes…..









Seventhly ….. if u have to delete the record which u have enter then delete press key and delete it ….

If u wanna see  your enter data information in details then u have to click  report button then general ledger and then chart of account the whole list is in front of u



Now thw whole data u hav enter is infornt of u …..

if u hav to change the name then u hav to search the iten and change despription and press ALIT S then its saved....ur coreection is made






Mentain chart of Accounts





Here are some  entries   which u have to enter  in opening balance of your peach tree company  there are different account id  its description , we have chart of account now we hav to make beginning balances
Beginning accounts balances we have  to made on peach tree chart of accounts…..
From the chart of accounts you hav to make beginning balances
When u click on the beginning balance there are some years come before and after then you have to choose the year which u have to start  your  year I hav chosen year 1.01- 2013 thorough 1- 31-13
After selecting the year which u hav to enter opening balances then you have to enter next step by pressing the ok button then the next step u have entered……so choose the month which is current of your year start and press ok and when you press ok button then you will see what is in next step what you have to see is in next step
Here……. There are id and description which we have already enterd now on the first equity side we have to enter all its  balances on assets and equity like 
Here we entering  the  the balances one by one like cash in bank 1000
Then petty cash and so on like this full all assests and equity incomes  and you have to enter all cash enteries one by one all liabilities and assets are should be entered decoratively 

When you have fully enter all the amounts then you have to press ok button to save this account when u hav press ok button 
there are five columns respectively Account id , Account description , account type , assets and expenses and then liabilities, equity and income and enter all entries in debit and credit order 
u can save it by pressing OK button which is OK on screen upward of just use shortcut key  " alt+0 " and your work will be saved and the software will show the current months closing and next months opening balances

How to appear peachtree software ?
If  you are a new user then first step is to open peach tree software  and read the peach accounting points and select setup of new company……….
If you  have already then existing company ………….                                       
And if u wanna close it click close the window and also get information about peach tree thorough online tutorial by clicking it …

Third step
For new company setup some information is asked and u have to ful fill all necessary requirement specially company name , and other information like country  , telephone fax etc and click next…………

Here chart of accounts given for new user click build your own company and others accounts are for company existing user……………
Now the accounting method  there are two accounting methods for u to use and for new user click accrual method and click next

Now the posting method there are two steps of posting method select which method u use for ur company  click real time and click next and move further………..
Accounting periods  u hav to decide which accounting period structure u want to use mostly 12 months,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, click the 12 monthly accounting periods or other option and click next nad move further…………….
Monthly accounting periods are on monthly basis that in which month u start ur fiscal month your  month of entering data….  And the year you will be entering payroll………………
Defaults…….. these are for help we can change the settings any time  and the menu is given for help after this click next

At last the congratulation screen is infront of ur screen which shows ur  peachtree company  is completed after fulfills all requirements now you can change the default setting to match your specific business needs when require and after reading this  click finish……..
